We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic, experience working on underground mining equipment is considered an asset. Location is for our Kirkland Lake Surface Shop

Job Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy surface and mining equipment, including loaders, haul trucks, drills, and support vehicles.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Keep detailed service and repair records.
• Follow company and industry safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience with underground mining equipment (an asset but not required).
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
