Alex MacIntyre and Associates Ltd. is a leading mining contracting company dedicated to delivering professional, safety-focused, and efficient services. We are looking for a skilled and experienced CWB Certified Welder to join our team at our Kirkland Lake Surface Shop.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as per CWB standards.
• Repair and maintain heavy equipment, structural components, and mining machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding procedures.
• Conduct inspections to ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) Certification (SMAW, FCAW, or GTAW).
• Minimum 2+ years of welding experience, preferably in the mining or heavy equipment industry.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and working in various conditions.
