About This Opportunity

This position will join our team working in Matachewan, Ontario on a full-time basis. The schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off.

This position offers a salary range of $85.00 to $96.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on underground mining equipment, infrastructure, and electrical systems to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Complete electrical work in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, Ontario mining regulations, and company/site procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Work closely with various departments, including Mine Operations, Maintenance, and other site personnel, to support safe, efficient, and reliable underground operations.
• Participate in workplace inspections, safety meetings, and other site safety initiatives.
• All other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario 309A Construction & Maintenance or 442A Industrial Electrician Certificate of Qualification.
• Two to three years of experience as an underground electrician is preferred
• Basic Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core Program (770010) with modules U0000, U0001, U0002, U00012 and U0024 as a minimum.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Valid driver's licence.
• Eligible to work in Canada
