Compensation & Benefits Information
· Rate of pay ranges from: $25.32 per hour to $26.36, as per the SEIU-Service Collective Agreement

· Percent in lieu and vacation percent pay up to 18%, as per the SEIU-Service Collective Agreement
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Inpatient Unit & Allied Health, the Patient Transfer Attendant is responsible for providing safe, timely and customer focused services to stable and non-urgent care patients via stretcher/wheelchair needing to get to and from appointments in a variety of situations including Hospital to Hospital transfers, outpatient clinics, discharge transportation home and more.
Requirements:
· Grade 12 OSSD or equivalent diploma
· Valid CPR and First Aid (Level C)
· Valid Class ‘G’ driver’s license
· Clean driver’s abstract
· The driver must be willing to provide proof of having current private insurance for their personal vehicle, as well as stating they are the primary driver
· Letter of experience from previous employment confirming related experience. If this cannot be provided, a copy of Auto Plus report must be provided - https://iis.cgi.com/rapidweb/en/support/consumer-reports.aspx
· Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
· A minimum of three years driving experience in Northern Ontario. A clean driver’s abstract must be submitted annually.
· The ability to provide effective services to clients/residents
· Bilingualism will be considered an asset.
