DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Working in a client’s home

·         Working with an individual with Cerebral Palsy with physical limitations

·         Assistance with personal hygiene, light house cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, shopping, helping clients with leisure activities, other duties as assigned

·         Nurturing assistance to client with parenting of two children

Requirements:

·         Experience working with individuals with Cerebral Palsy or other types of physical limitations

·         Self-motivated person who can follow directions

·         Must be comfortable around young children

·         Must have a valid vulnerable sector check

·         Must be able to speak and understand English fluently

Hours of work:

7am-8:30am

4pm-6:30pm

Acceptable education - Personal Support Worker, Developmental Services Worker, Independent Living Assist Training or Social Service Worker.

**Training will also be provided to the successful candidate by the employer**
