ANNOUNCES A VACANCY FOR:
#24-43 (1) Full Time Speech & Language Pathologist – Timmins –
1 Year Contract
The Cochrane Temiskaming Resource Centre (CTRC) is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to join its team in Timmins, however travel to other service communities is required.
CTRC is a regional Developmental Services provider offering programs across the Districts of Temiskaming and Cochrane including coastal communities along James and Hudson Bay. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide a range of clinical services. They will participate as a member of the Speech Services Department and the Professional Resource Team.
Speech Pathologists will also work consultatively with other service agencies and providers, including Community Living Associations, Schools and School Boards, Hospitals, and any other community based services part of support network for the individual receiving services from CTRC.
Full-Time contract employees are offered a defined pension plan with the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) and are enrolled from hire date.
Wage: BA Level Registered - $32.98 – 36.17 Hours of Work: 75 hours/2 weeks
MA Level Registered - $37.99 – 42.61
The successful candidate will possess A Master’s Degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology and eligibility for registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists in Ontario. Ability to work as a team member, excellent writing and organizational ability. Preferably 2 years of experience and some in the field of Developmental Disabilities. Ability to operate a computer and various software programs. Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and as a member of department and multi-disciplinary team; valid class G driver’s licence and use of a vehicle. Bilingualism would be an asset and may be considered a requirement depending on the area where the vacancy exists. Double vaccination against COVID-19 is mandatory.
